Invisalign and Orthodontics

If you’re looking to straighten your teeth quickly and successfully Invisalign® is the modern-day solution.   This innovative treatment has been used by thousands of people across the world and it involves set of clear aligners – which apply the right force, in the right place, at the right time – to gradually move your teeth into the desired position and achieve a straighter smile.

The aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing. And as they’re fully transparent, they have very little impact on your daily life.

How does Invisalign® treatment work?

Step 1.  Visit Fence House Dental for initial consultation

During the consultation appointment we’ll examine your smile and establish exactly what you’re looking to achieve.   If Invisalign® is right for you, we will take a fast and precise 3D scan of your teeth and create a customised treatment plan.  Most people who need braces are excellent candidates for Invisalign®.  Clinically proven that it helps to treat overbite, underbite, crossbite, open bite, gapped teeth, and overcrowding.
Invisalign® isn’t suitable for children. But there isn’t an upper age limit for adults. And as long as your teeth are in good condition and with no signs of gum disease you should be eligible.

Step 2.   Accept the treatment plan

Once you’re happy with your treatment plan and accepted it; you’re now ready to progress with the next steps in your Invisalign treatment journey. Custom made aligners will be manufactured for your treatment.

Step 3.   Start your Invisalign® journey.

  • Wear your aligners according to your Invisalign treatment plan
  • Set reminders for wearing and changing your aligners on My Invisalign App
  • Once orthodontic treatment ends, teeth can have a tendency to move again, so it’s important to keep them in place for long lasting results.  Ask your Invisalign dentist about Vivera retainers, which are custom-made, and 30% stronger than other retainers.

Please contact Fence House Dental to make a consultation in order to discuss your individual needs.
